Luxembourg Gaming Xperience
- 28-29 September 2019
- LuxExpo The Box (Luxembourg)
This post is about our review of the LGX-Luxembourg Gaming Experience. It’s our first time at the LGX and it’s the fourth edition. It lasted the whole weekend and it was much bigger as the LuxCon. We really liked it there. We cosplayed on both days. On Saturday we went as Eren and Levi from Attack on Titan and on Sunday we were Chuuya and Akutagawa from Bungou Stray Dogs. In fact both costumes are self made, even the gear from Attack on Titan. In addition these are our first self made costumes. We also received great feedback on our costumes which made us really happy.
The organisation was very good. Everything was presented such as gaming, imaginary world, new technologies, Japanese culture and much more. Our favorite was definitely the Japanese culture but we also liked the gaming part as you can see on the following picture. We love how everything was organised and divided into different parts.
Furthermore, you could also find many merch and food stands. In addition, there were many interesting cosplayers and mangakas who had their stands. Many competitions took place, not only gaming competitions but also a cosplay contest. There were also invities from Game of Thrones (indeed we don’t watch it, so we don’t have any autograph or pictures of them xD)
We had a lot of fun and met many great cosplayers. They all looked amazing and we took pictures with some of them. Thank you all for the pictures.
All in all, the spent an awesome time at the convention and might consider to come back next year. Our highlight were the gaming competitions and the cosplayers. It was our first time at the convention and we spent an awesome time. We also bought something and couldn’t resist. 🙂
