Saló(n) del Manga de Barcelona
- Fira Barcelona (Spain)
This post is a review of the Salon del Manga in Barcelona. In fact, it was our second time there and we went only on Saturday and Sunday. This year the convention celebrated its 25 anniversary. The weather was great, on saturday it was sunny with 25 degrees and on sunday it rained a bit and it was cloudy but the temperatures were around 19 degrees. Here is our line up, on saturday we went as Chuuya and Akutagawa from Bungou Stray Dogs and on sunday we dressed up as Eren and Levi from Attack on Titan.
The convention itself was really a blast. It was really big with 4 different venues which were on saturday a bit crowded. The organization itself was really interesting and well done. One venue contained the merch stands, another one was the artist alley and the fanzones. There was even an alley for kids to have fun and play. There was also an extra area for food. This year it seemed there were more merching stands as last year.
Of course, there were also many great cosplayers present. They all looked so amazing and were so kind. We want to thank them again for taking pictures with us. We also really appreciated that many people asked us for pictures and even loved our costumes. This made us kinda proud as we have done them ourselves.
Of course we also couldn’t resist and bought some merch.
All in all, we really enjoyed the weekend and we had a lot of fun. We will definitely come back next year and this convention counts as one of our favorites. The organization is really well done and everything was quite easy to find. It is also always amazing to see so many awesome cosplayers in one place.
